Discounts

Deposits
To secure a place in my editorial schedule, I require a 20% deposit on the following services:

The 20% deposit is paid after I have agreed to take on your project, and you have been given a detailed quote and turnaround estimate and have decided to continue. If you complete your project with me, the deposit goes towards paying for my services.
I require ½ of the quoted price paid via PayPal before I start your project, and the remaining ½ after the project has been completed and you have received the edited or critiqued manuscript.
I am willing to discuss payment plans.
Turnaround
The turnaround period for each project depends on the content, focus areas, the service requested, and the length of manuscript.
Manuscript Length
For the purposes of a turnaround time estimate, manuscript length is categorized as follows:

Refund Policy
As mentioned, the deposit to secure a place in my work schedule is non-refundable.
Before all projects are begun, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that your project has been started, along with a PayPal invoice for ½ of the quoted price for your project. Before receiving this e-mail, authors are entitled to a full refund, minus the deposit and PayPal fees.
After the notification e-mail, refunds will only be given for the words that have not been edited. In other words, you will pay for what has been read/edited, which will be sent to you, and be refunded the rest of the money, minus the deposit and PayPal fees.
